Ryan’s Jewellers April 2016

Ryans jewellers

The Limerick Tidy Towns monthly award for April has gone to Ryans Jewellers, for their beautifully presented shop and building at 44 Roches Street. Pictured outside their premises being presented with the award by Maura of Limerick Tidy Towns are Fionagh Ryan, Stephen Ryan, Liz Ryan and Laura Dillon.

When the Tidy Towns team select our monthly winners, we have to judge not only a shop or business facade, but also the entire frontage of the building. Unfortunately even nicely presented shop units on one or two occasions haven’t been given an award as they are let down by the upper floors. Happily that certainly cannot be said for Ryans Jewellers as not only is their shop frontage immaculately presented, with stylish signage and spotless windows, all perfectly in keeping with the quality of their jewellery on display, the frontage of the upper floors is also beautifully painted and their striking trademark diamond mural stands out in particular.

Ryans Jewellers is a family run business with a long and proud history in Limerick, and this year they celebrate 140 years as a jewellery store. They are one of the leading jewellers in Limerick city and the Mid-West region, specialising in diamond engagement and wedding bands, sourced from around the world. Their store is a boutique of gifts for all occasions, from christenings and communions to engagements and anniversaries, and they pride themselves on having generations of the same families shopping with them. The staff take great pride in their work and go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction in a warm and friendly atmosphere. For more information, contact them on 061 417828, visit their website ryansjewellers.ie or simply call in to their lovely store on Roches Street.

Ryans Jewellers is the fourth Limerick Tidy Towns monthly award winner for 2016, following Silverwood Jewellers in January, Rebecca Leahy Opticians in February and M&C Property in March. All monthly winners for 2016 will be in with the chance of winning next year’s overall prize.

Thanks as ever to Sarah Hayes of I Love Limerick for taking the photograph for this and all of their monthly awards.
