It was impossible to pick an individual monthly Tidy Towns award winner for December as Limerick city as a whole looks so beautiful, so we’ve decided to give it to the city, particularly after the monumental and memorable year we’ve all shared during its tenure as City of Culture. Well done to all the businesses and retailers who have contributed to making this Christmas one of the brightest and best Limerick city has seen.

Well done also to the other 11 monthly awards winners for 2014 – voting has now closed and the overall winner will be announced in January so watch this space!

In the meantime, the Tidy Towns team wish you all a very Happy Christmas and a bright New Year. A huge thank you to all the volunteers who have come out to help during 2014 and we would love to see more of you volunteering with us in 2015.
